Product Description
Glucos oxidase (GOD) is obtained by deep aeration fermentation with Penicillium aureus, precipitation with ethanol and acetone and adsorption of kaolin or aluminum hydroxide, and then salting out and refining with ammonium sulfate. It can also be made from Penicillium spp. and Aspergillus niger. Almost white to light yellow powder, or yellow to brown liquid. Soluble in water, the aqueous solution is generally pale yellow. It is almost insoluble in ethanol, chloroform and ether. It is an important industrial enzyme in the food industry. It is widely used in the deoxidation of wine, beer, juice, milk powder and other foods, flour improvement, and prevention of food browning. It is also widely used in food rapid detection and biosensors. GOD is widely distributed in animals, plants and microorganisms. It is the main source for the production of GOD due to the rapid growth and reproduction of microorganisms, and the main production strains are Aspergillus niger and Penicillium.
